Contextory is designed with privacy at its core. All data is stored locally on your Mac. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information or activity data to any external servers. You don't need an account to use Contextory, and everything runs entirely on your device.

By default, Contextory does not use any third-party services or APIs. All functionality runs locally on your device. The only exception is if you choose to download AI models through Ollama, which is a separate tool that you install and manage independently.
